May Telework Goal Exceeded! $750 Donated to Local Food Bank
Covid-19 has brought us all curve balls of events that has changed our lives. One positive change that took place for TRAFFIX/Hampton Roads was a huge increase in teleworking, which led to a decrease in traffic congestion that minimized carbon emissions.
With your help by logging your telework “trips”, TRAFFIX is pleased to announce we have exceeded our Caring Commute goal of 750 logged trips by over 200 percent! In an effort to support the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, we have donated $750.00, which becomes $4,500 worth of groceries distributed to our neighbors who really need us right now.
TRAFFIX partnered with Agile Mile the provider, of the tracking app that allows commuters to reduce emissions.
