Newport News Transit Center Gets a Bike Repair Station

TRAFFIX opened its second bike repair station at HRT’s Newport News Transit Center on June 4, 2015 with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.

Newport News Mayor McKinley Price and Hampton Roads Transit’s President and CEO William E. Harrell marked the occasion before a group of transit riders and guests.

The bike repair station includes tools for minor repairs, a bicycle pump, and a stand upon which to hold a bicycle aloft while working on it.
